Picnic Pasta

What you need...

Pasta (maize and rice)
Fennel
Cream cheese
Little bit of onion
Pinenuts
Chilli
Lemon juice
Fennel seeds
Onion seeds

What you need to do...

Boil your pasta.  (Timing doesn't matter because this is served cold, so chillax)
Add the chopped up fennel into pasta water about 3 minutes before the pasta is cooked
While that is happening, fry up an onion with some chilli and pinenuts.
When the pasta is done, melt up some cream cheese with a little lemon juice and chuck in your pasta / fennel awesomeness.  If it feels too dry add some mayo.
Don't forget your onions and pinenut stuff.  Add that to the pasta.  Oh, and add the fennel and onion seeds... it doesn't really matter when you add them.
Parsley would be nice, but I didn't have any.
Throw a little grated cheese onto it all and mix in.

Stick it in some tupperware (yay, I love tupperware) and take to a nice park and have a picnic.

What you get...

Not too stodgy pasta for a hot day :)
